Where Did Everyone Go?

Farewell and good by, it’s a sad day at our home in the Baptist Manse…. All the field school students left today! After two weeks of living with 30 students, we finally have the place to ourselves. It will be nice to unpack, have some space, and not be tripping over people. But it’s kind of sad too; the field school was our own personal live version of the real world and road rules, minus all the weirdoes. All joking aside, it was great to see the field school students in action. They were all very talented and worked hard on documenting many of the historic buildings in Falmouth. It was great to see this academic side of preservation and the impact these students will have on saving some of the local history!
