What better way to show off Jamaica, than to take my parents down to Dunns River Falls in Ocho Rios. Like I mentioned earlier it is just one of those places that everyone visiting Jamaica has to visit… A quick stop in Discovery Bay to see Columbus Park, and we were off to Ochi. Dad even decided to climb the Falls so we jumped into the cold water and made our way up weaving in and out of the human chain of tourist groups. Next stop, Mystic Mountain. For those of you from Colorado think of Glenwood Cavern but in a rain forest and equipped with a Jamaican bobsled ride. It was a sight for sore eyes to see a chairlift in the jungle that took us up through the forest canopy to the mountaintop. What a great way to see the rain forest and what most of the country’s interior looks like. As you can imagine it was an exhausting day. It’s pretty hard keeping up with my folks as they are truly world travelers.
