Back on the streets counting cars today, this time down at the corner of Market Street and Tharp Street. Market Street serves as one of the main entry roads into Falmouth from the A-1 highway; not surprisingly a lot of cars passed by with many strange looks from passengers. There is also a lot of great architecture and historic buildings along Market Street. As the name implies back in Falmouth’s prime this road was the home to many merchants who lined this corridor into town. It should come as no surprise that Market Street will continue to serve as the backbone of the community. Hope it is up to the challenge and can handle the influx of traffic. One thing is for sure, a lot of preservation & stabilization needs to be done along Market Street…
